CoolMailDisk enables you to use your email account as a storage solution to where you can upload files for backup or mobile access. It works with any email account that offers POP3 access, including webmail accounts such as Gmail. The program is fairly easy to use, once you have configured your email account(s), you can simply drag & drop files into the mailbox and they will be uploaded automatically. The files are stored as email messages with attachments on your mail server and are easily recognized by the subject line. You can download a file either directly from your mail account (by saving the attachment) or from within the software. Since most email servers have a limit on attachment sizes, CoolMailDisk automatically splits larger files (that exceed the limit) into multiple email attachments and re-joins them when they are downloaded.
